This story is inspired by: 444thenumber4 from Darkin Knight and Mrjo456 from Disrepair Rose Ruby Rose has been abandoned by her friends and left to die in Emerald Forest, but as she tried to survive, Crescent Rose was destroyed and Ruby was forced to flee. But as she journeyed farther away from Beacon, she stumbled upon a new scythe, the Scythe of the Darkin: Rhaast, and as Ruby touched it she heard the voice of the Darkin as she fought control against him, and won, gaining the power of the Darkin, as well as a brand new power. Now Ruby is stronger then ever and plans to continue her dream while discovering the magics hidden in her world as she grew stronger to one day defeat her enemies, no matter the cost.

After being rejected by her crush Weiss, Ruby runs off to get her mind off things. But, gets abducted by Roman, by whom she gets tortured for months. By the time she finally does escape, She has changed to something more fearsome, with her old bubbly self completely destroyed, leaving her as just a shell of her past self. Growing tired of her partner's constant complaints, Ruby decides to switch places with Weiss, allowing her to become the team leader. Despite being happy with the opportunity at first, the heiress soon learns just how much work is required to be a team leader, and what responsibilities the position carries with it. Weiss is cold, nothing new. Ruby and Weiss have a terrible start once they became partners. Ruby struggles with coping with depression and Weiss makes it harder for to handle her situation. Ruby has a crush on Weiss, but is afraid to know of what she'll say to her if she were to confess. Here in this story Ruby and Weiss are both 17. After Ruby Rose gets brutally rejected by her crush, Weiss, she leaves in anger and gets lost in the abandoned forests by Vale, and gets surrounded by Grimm and is nearly dead when a wandering girl walks by just in time. She wipes out all the Grimm and looks down at the girl she just saved with a smirk on her face, and Ruby is surprised to see that it is none other then... Neo?! (Slow burn???? Kinda??? One night, a young girl woke up to a strange bright light in the forest. Being the curious child she was, she ventured out into the forest and met a friend, a friend like no other. ???: "My name is Ruby Rose! What's yours?" ???: "I am BT-7274, you may call me BT."
