-i hate you so much, but you're good in bed- this story is about y/n and the avengers. she hates the new super soldier that joined the avengers tower so he hated her too. well but apparently they can't stop getting into it. IMPORTANT background story: steve rogers found you in the forest on the ground only with underwear on, the avengers were on a mission to explore a hydra base. he thought you were just a teenager who got lost and lost her memories but you actually remember everything. every single detail. you were kept and tortured by hydra and they gave you unnatural powers to control things with your mind. you are 22 years old now and steve found you 5 years ago. you have never told anyone about your powers because first of all you never knew how to control them until a few months ago and second of all you were scared that they could be afraid of you. (this is my first story ever and i'm really not satisfied, feel free to judge.) contains smut.

Not all abuse is physical. Some is the result of psychological warfare. For 42 years, I seemed to be receiving coded messages that something was wrong. They came from seemingly likable billboard ads, pop songs and TV comedy skits. The queasiness, the worries , the obsessions when I would see certain unrelated words and images -- why? Could I ever solve the puzzle and figure out what had gone off the rails in my otherwise happy youth? This is the true story of a man who had set out to right the world's wrongs, and finally faced a hideous injustice from his own past, then started a road to feeling okay!

In a world where security cameras prove what you have done and databases define who you are, the few who know how to manipulate the technology can play God. They can change the future; they can alter the past. They can make big money, they can save the world, and they can get away with murder over and over again. Danielle Leaf grew up believing she was safe. Now she knows she was wrong. Award-winning author Jon Evans returns with new heroes and a compulsive, fast-paced story that examines issues of Third World exploitation and the extreme edge of anti-capitalist activism. Invisible Armies is Cold War suspense for the modern age, a thriller that looks behind the power of protests and the politics of big business. Reviews "Thought-provoking ... Invisible Armies is an intriguing, pacy read and Mr Evans shows great potential."-The Economist "A tough-as-nails technothriller... People who aren't morons and like thriller novels ought to read this."-Bruce Sterling "Evans has created a new genre, the travelogue as fast-paced action thriller."-Montreal Gazette About the Author Jon Evans's novels have been published around the world, translated into half a dozen languages, and praised by The Economist, The Times of London, and the Washington Post. His journalism has appeared in Wired, Reader's Digest, The Guardian, The Globe & Mail, and The Times of India, and he writes a weekly column for TechCrunch. He can be found online at www.rezendi.com.
