Quien diría que la preocupación y sobreprotección de Sonic afectaría a su hermano Tails, al punto de que Tails termine en una relación con su némesis Shadow. Tras ver que Tails sale muy perjudicado después de cada misión, Sonic comienza a excluirlo de las aventuras para que no salga lastimado. Sin saber que gracias a ello, Shadow empieza a juntarse más con el zorrito. Solo por que desde un comienzo, a tenido ese fuerte sentimiento con Tails y ahora con Sonic fuera del camino, querrá devolverle esa felicidad y diversión que perdió por un buen tiempo.
