When Palette arrived, he was greeted by a cheerful Goth at the door. Goth welcomed him in and they went upstairs to hang out in Goth's room- where Goth would show Palette the poem he prepared the night before.
"So, um, I wanted to do something for you too, but I can't really sing that great so I thought a poem might be better suited." Goth explained, pulling out a sheet of lined paper.
"You wrote your own poem for me? Wow, that's so cool!" Palette said excitedly. Goth smiled warmly as he cleared his throat, ready to read.
Goth and Palette are best friends on the cusp of high school who just happen to be neighbors- and apparently the subject of both their affections? One afternoon, Palette invited Goth to hang out with him, but it ended in yet another friendzone gash in Goth's aching heart. But this gives Goth an idea, which morphs into a plan to reveal his strong and previously well concealed affections. When he carries out his plan and Palette makes a grave mistake and tears them apart, how will they amend their relationship- and possibly build a newer and more intimate one?
(Goth and Palette do not belong to me, but I did draw the cover and the Neighborhood AU belongs to me. Enjoy!)
