Hadley Jamison doesn't know what to think when she hears that her classmate, Archer Morales, committed suicide. She didn't exactly know him, but that doesn't stop her from feeling like there was something she could have done to help him. So to Hadley's surprise, on the very night of Archer's funeral, she has a run in with Death himself and is offered the chance to go back in time to stop Archer from ending his life. The catch? She only has twenty-seven days to do it. And if Hadley doesn't succeed? Well, she doesn't want to think about that.

Julia Morias is struggling with a lot of internal conflict after breaking up from a toxic relationship. After letting the relationship go, all she is left with is a watch her ex gifted. Is the broken wrist watch really what she thinks it is: a good luck charm? Or just an excuse to hold on to things that she doesn't want to accept? While struggling to survive the war within herself, fighting to move on from her past, things turn towards a different direction for her, when a new neighbour moves in. But that's not all. The real reason which makes her confused, is the similarities. The similarities between this new man, and the boy from her childhood, the boy she holds close to her heart, the boy who once helped her survive one of the toughest wars of her life when she was just 8. The similarities between the man and her childhood friend, who left just after a few months of when they met, leaving her with just a note he wrote and something (mentioned later in the story) which belonged to him. Will she be able to let go of her trauma and her toxic relationship? Or will she hold on to that broken wrist watch? Will she keep looking back or will she choose to move forward, in a direction of love and light? And what role will this new man (neighbour) play in her decision? ___________________________________________ This book was a writing prompt turned into a short romance. I didn't actually plan on writing this, as all my attention was reserved for my debut dark romance novel, which will be out by the end of next year. But, I couldn't resist and wrote it as it was too cute to ignore. If you choose to go through this short journey of Julia, I hope you enjoy it. Happy reading.
