What if evolution took another path? If flimsy males stayed safely tucked away in caves with children, while females ventured outside to hunt? And matriarchy was the norm, with women ruling the earth? In this reverse world, Florian Fletcher, a shy IT student, makes ends meet by waitering in corporate events. During Brown Inc's annual gala, he catches the attention of the handsome Alexandra. At barely thirty, Alexandra Brown is the epitome of success--billionaire, self-made woman, most courted single of all Montreal. But something is missing. When wide-eyed, clumsy Florian enters her life, Alexandra's breath hitches. Could this damoiseau in distress be what her heart yearns for? ⚠️ Content warning: This story contains sexual mature contents. 📕 Featured on: @adultfiction ~ Melting Hearts (January 16th, 2021) Awards: 🥇 Humor - Punk Rock Awards 2021 🥇 Romance - Frosty 2020 🥇 Romance - Shimmer 2020 (Christmas Special) 🥇 Chicklit - Blackrose 2020 🥇 Best opening chapter - Romance - Floret Year End 2020 🥈 Romance - Rising Star 2020 🥈 Chicklit - Books and Beyond 2020 🥈 Humor - Retrograde 2 2020 🥈 Humor - Golden Writer 2020 🥈 Best first chapter - Winter Wonderland 2020 🥉 Romance - End of an Era 2020 🏆 4th - Chicklit - Phoenix 2020 🏆 3rd runner-up - Random - Red Ruby 2020 Cover made with Desygner Picture by Crawford Jolly (@crawford on Unsplash)

Secrets, Scandal...and Murder. //// Ahmed Heavenstate just wanted to fit in. A recently adopted high school freshman in a brand new town, he'd barely gotten his foot in the door before being targeted by the headmaster's entitled son Steven. But when a cruel prank brings both boys face to face with a brutalized corpse in the school's main building, these warring adolescents are swept into a terrifying world bloodied with the long-buried secrets of their tight-lipped community. As the passions and prejudices of old money and new acquaintances whirl relentlessly through their town of sheltered closets and the skeletons inside them, Steven and Ahmed will discover a truth more terrifying than anything their paragon of sacred laws and tradition would dare allow them to believe.

[Watty Awards 2019 Winner - New Adult!] Damian Ryker is something of a nomad. In his 22 years of life he's moved a grand total of 14 times. But he's here to stay this time, honest. He's already got himself a cushy new job in town and he's exploring the popular local shops, like that coffee shop down the road. It seems nice enough, perhaps a little too hipster for his taste and the barista is awkward, if not the slightest bit weird. But there's something strange about the innocuous café, like-oh I don't know-earthquakes that seem to destroy it every morning before miraculously repairing themselves and leaving him with the only memory of it. And just when that sounded a tad off, things start to get...a little out of this world. ------------ This was my 2017 Nanowrimo story that I couldn't quite fall out of love with. Inspired by the fun and fascinating world of fan fiction AUs, I hope you'll have as much fun with this as I had writing it!

An ex-couples rivalry for the spot as student body president becomes even more convoluted when two new, unexpected candidates enter the race. Chloe and Preston team up, each vowing to get one member kicked from the competition-- but when they both end up helping their victims to spite each other, the campaign gets a lot more complicated. * * * * * Chloe Peters is determined to solidify her most-popular-girl-in-school status with the label of student body president, so she's furious when three other candidates enter the race. Now, she's competing against her ex-boyfriend Preston McMillan, some nobody named Emily, and the school's notorious troublemaker, Finn Harrel. If it means saving her pride and not letting Preston get the best of her, she'd do just about anything-- even help out Finn, who despite his good looks, gets on her last nerve with his lackadaisical attitude and class-clown antics. Preston McMillan just wants a distraction from the fact that his wrestling team is about to be disbanded. When he signs up for the presidential race, he doesn't expect Chloe to go berserk, nor does he expect to meet Emily, a quiet, stony girl he can't believe he's never noticed before. After deciding to help with her campaign, he's got plenty of distractions-- enough to make him wonder what really matters, and enough to make his friends question where his loyalties lie. One thing's for sure: suddenly, this race is about a lot more than student government. 𝐂𝐎𝐌𝐏𝐋𝐄𝐓𝐄𝐃 (𝐮𝐧𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐝) - 𝟑/𝟖/𝟐𝟎𝟏𝟗 𝐂𝐎𝐌𝐏𝐋𝐄𝐓𝐄𝐃 (𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐬) - 𝟏𝟎/𝟏𝟓/𝟐𝟎𝟏𝟗 𝐂𝐎𝐌𝐏𝐋𝐄𝐓𝐄𝐃 (𝐦𝐚𝐣𝐨𝐫 𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐬)- 𝟖/𝟐𝟒/𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟎
