This is a sequel to In Need of a Friend - A Joe Mazzello Fanfic (High School). Joe and Valentina's story together continues. It's their senior year together - their last year in high school. Valentina Is new to Jackson High. She's also new to the United States. She comes from Argentina. Her English is good,she just has a very thick accent which all of the students mock. With so many other pressures at home and her father having just passed away, the bullying becomes too much. One day, while at school, she just breaks down. She begins to cry at lunch. That's when a male student named Joe asks if he can sit there to work on an assignment. She nodded. He was oblivious to her crying at first (as she was trying hard to conceal it). After he heard a couple of sniffles and deep breathes, he asked about what happened. She explained the bullying and he offered some comfort. This was the day Joe Mazzello walked into her life and things were never the same.
