AU with Mute Sam, Background Destiel and Michifer Gabriel Novak, just your every day person just out of college. Works at a fandom shop with his best friend Charlie and has too many siblings. Sam Winchester, a college student, and kinda a complete nerd. Seemingly normal, other than the fact that he doesn't talk. Selective mutism, he doesn't like talking to anyone other than his brother. Sam and Gabriel cross paths, and somewhat end up dating after not long. The only problem is communication between them. Sam can't speak to Gabriel...unless it's quoting fandoms.

Dean has had just about enough of Sam. Yeah, sure, he went through a break-up, but he's twenty-three for crying out loud! Sam has been driving Dean crazy, he never leaves, he never really moves, and Dean has been wasting away without his boyfriend Cas. Something has to be done. Sam just wants to know what went wrong. He's thankful for Dean's help, but that can only get him so far. Then one day Dean says that Sam is going on a date whether he likes it or not. And it's a guy.
