A case of mistaken identity, or a case of double identity? They are a rookie security team who were given a shot at becoming bodyguards for the daughter of a famous prime minister candidate. It's their first job but it may as well be their last when she went missing under their watch, but the search for her lead them to the discovery of an unknown identical twin, who has been living a life of the complete opposite. She seems similar yet at the same time starkly different, it leaves them wondering whether the person they have been looking for has actually been right under their noses all along. At the same time the election campaign is robustly conducted, there is a rising threat from the infamous outlaws called the 'Reflectors'. These outlaws steal from the rich and give to the poor, making them the good guys to some and bad guys to the others. As they try to piece the mysterious circumstances of her disappearance together, the idea of her being related to the Reflectors might not seem like a far fetch. In the quest to search for the missing pieces of the puzzle, it then comes to a point where they, too, question their own identities. Mystery-romance...? And everything in between. After spending two years of trying to keep every person she meets at arms length what will she do when the new guy just can't take a hint? Ashton McClain is charming, arrogant and extremely good looking. He's a perfect guy and he seems hellbent of getting to know the real Scarlett. In every story there are heroes and villains. They play the roles of both. Crescent Cafe is a nondescript cafe located at an alley, bringing in less than around 10 customers per day. Underneath the exterior of a failing business, the building masks the headquarters for 8 hired "couriers", doing jobs that range from menial ones such as catching a cheating spouse to skilled ones such as assassinating a gang leader. As long as it does not go against their principles and the pay's enough, the job is considered done. No one pays attention to them and only some know their secret identities. Han Byul is a recent university graduate crippling with student debt, fumbling around to find a part-time job that can at least sustain her until she finds a proper job. Frustrated after another failed job interview, she stumbled upon Crescent Cafe; she went in hoping for a cup of coffee and a peace of mind. What she got was a deadly secret that left the men with two choices: either kill her or take her in. But hey, at least the coffee's good. Action - comedy - romance... and many more in between. Hopefully. [Disclaimer: This story contains descriptions of sensitive themes, death, blood, violence and mild language. No explicit content. "Never call a girl a bitch," I glared into his eyes as he opened them, piercing into me, the bright blue drink I had just poured over him still dripping from his dark hair. "Do you ever get scared of being happy?" He asked softly, also pretty tired. I kept my eyes closed as I answered, my fingers softly drawing circles on his chest. "All the time. I used to a lot more, but, the downfalls seem a lot less daunting now that I have someone to free-fall with," I replied, and I looked up to see him smile a little at that, "We're just dancing in the rain these days.. there's no need to be afraid of the inevitable clouds that are gonna pop up." • • • College.
