My eyes darted across the room as the door to the small dirty room cracked open; to my dismay no one walked in, at least not yet. I kept my eyes on the ajar open door and on the mess that I created, if i was going to get beat for it might as well have it cleaned up so it won't be as bad as it can be. "Hiding the evidence I see" his malicious laugh echoing in the small empty room. A small gasp escaped my chapped lips and dry tongue. "I was just cleaning my mess" I mustered all the courage i could and looked at his shoes behind my medium length hair. His laugh grew as he walked out the door and into the hallway. It was as if a breath I've been holding for too long finally cascaded through my lungs and i felt a bit calmer knowing I was once again alone.
