For Hitoshi Shinso, life is just one big hurdle for him to get through. School for him is miserable - everyone is scared of approaching him for fear of him using his quirk on them. He gets through the days by self-harming, just to keep him feeling something.
Neito Monoma drunkenly agrees to a dare: get U.A's 'villain' to fall in love with him before the school semester ends. He figures he'll have some fun messing with Shinso.
Shinso is ecstatic that his crush seems to like him back. He begins to abandon his self-harm habits, and for once, things seem to be looking up for him.
But when Shinso finds out Monoma's true intentions, it all falls apart. Has Monoma pushed the 'villain' too far?
