Being orphaned during a civil war, Asagao is adopted by the Yamanaka family. They take him back to Konohagakure and the Hokage happily welcomes him. Asagao joins the academy, because Ino pleaded him to do so. At the Academy, Asagao grabs the attention of a certain ravenette. Of course, jealousy follows.
