A retelling of a Native American legend.

An old Native American Indian man is telling a story to his grandson. His grandson does not know his Grandfather is very sick, and slowly dying. Before he leaves this world he has to know if his grandson walks the good red road, and that he will keep the stories alive and tell them to the next generation.

A young boy's life has changed forever, as a baby he was removed from the reservation because his parents were killed in a house fire. When he got older, he was returned to the reservation into the hands of his grandparents, who raised him and taught him his traditions.

I combined all the Lakota Nation together in one story. Summary. The past is gone but not forgotten. A young boy named White Hawk has a rare gift. His parents do not have an answer to why he is going through this. He gets angry easily, he sees things that are not there, the elders believe it is a gift from the creator to talk to the ancestors that have passed on. Over the years White Hawk is getting worse, the older he gets the more he realizes that something is not right. Eventually, it will destroy his family and friends until he gets the proper help he needs.
