Lucia locked her grey eyes with her father's grey eyes. They didn't say anything for a long moment, only seemed to look into each other's souls. "Father! We're gonna be late!" Obsidian yelled as she peeked her head out of the brick wall then ducked back in. Draco glanced at them then hugged Narcissa, their mother, and quickly went through the brick wall, Narcissa glancing at Lucius with uncertainty then walking after him. Only when they were gone did her father speak. His lip curled as he said, "Don't disappoint me." Lucia blinked and looked away. "Yes, father." * * * Lucia Gray Malfoy isn't a regular Malfoy. She's not as cold-hearted as the rest of her family. Her twin brother, Draco, has always been there to help her and to help her right her wrongdoings, but her father, she must not disappoint or she'll suffer the consequences. At 3 months old you were given up to an orphanage with no idea why. You soon receive orphan parents; both lawyers. You ran away at 13 when you found out that they weren't your real parents. You have a brother, but you never see him because of an incident you had with him which is a huge secret that you don't tell anyone. You have a cat named Melissa, your ex dumped you for not being perfect at 23, you live by yourself, have a close friend called Mays, and you're a huge Marvel fan. You've watched every movie, and rewatch at least one every night. Your favorite actor is Tom Hiddleston and his character Loki. One night you were woken up by a clattering in the kitchen. You assume it's a burglar and instantly have your gun at hand, but when you see who's in the kitchen the gun is no use. The man, Loki, you're absolute favorite person in the whole Marvel Universe is sitting at your table. He's come to your home and you have no idea why. It's all impossible, and you find it even more unnerving when you find out you're the only one who can see him. Anyone you tell can instantly see him, but still this whole thing is a mystery. How can you see him when no one else can with out your consent? How is he real? Why is he in your house? And what are you going to do when you know exactly what is going to happen? Ellendil let the arrow fly from her bow as she said, "I orcs gar- reached i fen!" She jumped over an orc and slid her sword through its back as she turned her gaze on the elf behind her. "Híril Ellendil, I orcs will nia nor- ammen!" the elf said. Ellendil blinked and looked around. "No, they won't," she said when she finally spotted what/who she was looking for. Without a moment's hesitation she flung herself into the fray, striking down any orc that got in her way. Blood splattered her face and finally, she leaped into a tree, drew her bow and loaded an arrow. "Híril Ellendil!" The moon shone in the night sky, and the cold chill of the night air made her breath chilling. She stared at the roaring figure and muttered, "Take down the leader, and you take down the army." Time seemed to stop as she let the arrow fly. It sped through the air slowly, and even slower, the head of the huge figure turned. But it was too late. The arrow struck him in the head, and he fell, dead. "Elldendil! Bellow cin!" Legolas called through the retreating orcs. The tree was shaking, and the orcs swarmed it. Ellendil let more arrows fly, but before she could leap to another tree the branch snapped and she fell into black. * * * Ellendil, younger sister to Legolas, and daughter to Thranduil longs to see beyond Mirkwood. Her deepest desire was to explore beyond Mirkwood, and she did not keep it hidden. With many attempts to escape she is confined to the kingdom and not allowed to enter the trees. In the end she gives up her dream, but all that changes when she meets Elmen. And across the land in Lothlórien the daughter of Galadriel, Elbereth, has not yet found her true love. And in Rivendell, the sister of Arwen and daughter of Elrond, Luthien, is striving to be the best medic she can be. (Ellendil, Elmen, Luthien, and Elbereth are my fanfiction characters. I just came to say Happy Birthday and leave you a present," he whispered as Leema's head fell, leaning into his chest as her eyelids started to get droopy. "Goodnight darling, I'll come for you soon."
