"Before I show you who I am, I want you to remember what you're fighting for," Aide replied cautiously and gave them all a piercing stare. "Keep an open mind." "Just tell us, lad," Hanke snarled impatiently and bobbed his sword. "Brace yourselves," Aide said as he slowly reached for his hood. Emaia's heart pounded vigorously in her chest, so loudly, she feared people could hear. This was it. She would finally see the face of her rescuer, the face she had so longed to see. Aide gave them all one last lingering look before he closed his eyes. "Your whole world is about to change." He punctuated his sentence by pulling off his hood. The entire crowd gasped and all readied their weapons, as long silver hair burst free from the cloak and long slender ears appeared. It was impossible, Emaia thought. They had been extinct for decades. But there was no denying it. She looked at the man who had rescued her a few nights ago, and remembered him as charming and valiant. It all made so much sense now-why he could do, what he could do. He was an elf. And not just any elf. - A Northern Elf.

"Love is..." I explored my brain to find the most suitable word in my dictionary that could fit in the definition I was trying to say; the definition that could make the jerk, sitting opposite me with a smirk on his face, believe in 'love'. "Bullshit?" He offered with a huge arrogant smirk on his face and no matter how much I agreed with him on this particular matter, I couldn't agree. So, instead of nodding my head in agreement, I scowled at him. His smirk grew bigger and he leaned away from me, gazing at me with his piercing grey eyes. "Finding it hard to make me believe in love when you yourself don't believe in that shit, huh?" With his piercing grey gaze fixed on my every move, I realized that 'being the devil's cupid' was going to be a lot tougher than I had initially thought. (By the author of 'And We Meet Again')

My name was once Mia Elizabeth Vauthier. I was the princess of a great land where wolves, grander than any other creature shifted freely between animal and man. Where nature and its inhabitants lived together in an uninterrupted harmony. Where the supernatural was not abhorred by those arrogant beings that called themselves humans. Here the supernatural was just as part of nature as the trees and the grass, just as the Goddess had wished it to be. Since the day of my birth, I had been the envy of all the land. I would be powerful I would be great I would be blessed by the Goddess... Or so they had thought. When I was meant to shed my fragile human skin and flow smoothly in the Goddess' blessed creature of the night, I did not. It did not happen when I was sixteen, or seventeen, or eighteen. The shock had been like steaming water, trickling down the naked skin, tearing skin as it went leaving ugly marks that could never be removed. I became stained. The Princess who was an omega and not just an omega, a wolfless omega. An empty shell, a box with no contents, a heart with no blood. Just an empty vessel. I wished so desperately to fill the empty space with something worth more than the haunting echoes of what should have been but that was not my fate. Instead the once beloved princess I was cast aside, thrust into a tower with no promise of a prince to rescue me. The only dragon that guarded me was my own mind, a sharp weapon which would slowly poison me. I thought nothing could save me... Perhaps it is still too late.
