Bakugou tried to stop him but was too late and he carried that guilt with him until Deku came to UA through the rehab program. I'm doing this version of the AU cuz I wanna do Bakudeku but I don't really like how most people do bakudeku in villain deku AU's where they just ignore Bakugou's past actions and idk how to do an accurate plot of Bakugou being forgiven over time.
