Derek Hale keeps to himself mostly. After the Hale fire killed most of his family, he withdrew from most social groups. He lived with his siblings, who had evaded the fire, the oldest two raising the younger four. But when Laura and Damon are out of town on alpha business, trouble stirs throwing Derek head first into a mess he can't seem to get out of. Along the way he meets an odd pair, one of which catches his eye, despite his best efforts. Will he escape the tragedy he's now mixed in or will he suffer well?

It's been years since Stiles left Beacon Hills. He's got a job and a life away from the supernatural, but his pasts continues to haunt him. Stiles can't get Peter out of his mind, sure he may be almost twice his age, but that's one of the things that appealed to him. Stiles always ended up having crushes or things for older men. And Peter Hale is no exception. Stiles finds older men just know what to do. How to treat him and make him feel good. In more than one way. It doesn't help That Peter is always so confident and flirty. Those V necks he likes to wear don't help much either, Stiles seems to find himself distracted by the view, more times than not. Stiles doesn't have many friends besides Scott, Isaac, Derek, Lydia, and a few others. But lately most of them have been busy with their own lives or supernatural stuff, to busy to talk to Stiles at least. Since Derek and Scott have been training to take on the Alpha pack no one is around to protect Stiles. Kids at school use this time to harass and bully him.
