You helped Steve and Sam take the Winter Soldier down, since then they have been trying to recruit you. After some time you decide to join the Avengers but a few things have changed. One of them being that the Winter Soldier was "cured" . . . And your new roommate. Sam won't be to happy when the girl he has his eye on is spending time with the guy that tried to kill them.
