February 27, 1898 Dear Diary, Today I saw this handsome black man. I couldn't even keep my eyes off him. He seemed a little rough around the edges, but all I have to do is look at him and I start to have this weird feeling, you know? My friend says I shouldn't like someone like him. Why not? He is so handsome, and is a creamy light chocolate. I guess that tells you how much I stare at him when he is around. I only get to see him when I am on the bus and we pass him on the way home or to school. My stop is right next to the field he usually walks into when I am getting off. One of these days i am going to talk to him. Tomorrow that's when.

Currently being revised. - 21/08/2020 "I'm Leonardo Le Roux but you can call me Leo." He outstretched his hand. Is this even allowed ? Why is he treating me like I'm white. I hastily wiped my hands before shaking his soft and firm hand that made me feel weird so I quickly withdraw. "Nice to meet you Leo but I think I will stick to Sir. " I winked before heading out. I just met him minutes ago but I already feel comfortable enough to wink at him ? What is wrong with me ?
