The story follows the main character Elizabeth Bennet as she deals with issues of manners, upbringing, morality, education, and marriage in the society of the landed gentry of early 19th-century England. Elizabeth is the second of five daughters of a country gentleman living near the fictional town of Meryton in Hertfordshire, near London.

Year 2022. Things are not going well in Anna's life; she's unemployed and struggling hard to help both herself and her friend, Marina, get back on their feet. An unexpected proposal, however, makes her pack her things and move from Greece to the other side of the world: South Korea. Life isn't easier there either; she has to go though a lot of hardships, all by herself, and cope with the panic attacks that follow her like a dark shadow, after a horrifying night. Fate, however, has other plans for her. Anna meets Seokjin, her guardian angel, a God-sent gift that helps her evolve and get out of the black hole she's trapped in. Will she manage to move forward and adapt to this new world? Or isn't fate so generous and kind to her after all?
