This story was a response to my writing group's (@SevenScribes) March prompt: A futuristic setting where technology is very advanced but slowly starts to either turn against humanity or distinction. I could not have written this story without the help of my friend @ErulisseTintalle, who came up with the original idea and helped me brainstorm everything.
