However, one day while playing video games in his yard, Kenma is approched by his new neighbor Kuroo Tetsuro. - Kuroo's always enjoyed making new friends and usually gets along with people quickly. When he heard his mother say that a boy around his age would be moving in next door he was excited of course. However, when he saw the small, pale boy Kuroo began to worry for his new friend.

When kuroo mistakingly texts Kenma instead of bokuto, thinking it's bokutos number, it leads him on an adventure of a life time. Kuroo is a pretty famous volley player for nekoma volleyball team, whilst Kenma is a lone wolf; a gamer who spends his time in his own home.
