Those who were taken... They never came back, dragged beneath the waves never to return. Their haunting screams were a symbol of their horrific deaths. Like shadows they lay in wait, the deep blue waters hiding them from view. With sharp claws they attack, Pointed fangs tearing into skin, Eager mouths devouring human flesh. Cally was taken, dragged under the water by one of the vicious creatures. But she was not devoured nor torn apart by ruthless claws--no. She was a captive. ~•~ Water instantly invades her senses. Her eyes sting, her lungs and nose burning. She thrashes, kicks, claws--anything to get away. Her efforts go to waste as her body slowly starts to shut down, the air in her lungs quickly being replaced by sea water. Cally is vaguely aware of arms wrapping around her waist and behind her head before she loses consciousness, submerged in darkness. And so she is taken. He goes around, allowing people to come to him when it is time for them to die. When an eleven year old is killed in a car crash, Death comes to collect him. But the kid's phone rang, so Death, for whatever reason, picked up the phone. Only to find a little girl on the other side, crying to her older brother about how her father had hit her again that day. Death doesn't know what's gotten into him, especially since the girl calls every day. There was always a few minutes a day where no one on earth could die because Death was on the phone with his little angel. When the little girl grows up, she begins to have feelings for the person on the other end of the phone line, who calls himself Dean. Little does she know, he's been in love with her for years.
