You felt like your necklace was the most unique thing about you, other necklaces you had seen were all normal shapes usually split cleanly down the middle, but yours was meant to be a circle, it wasn't split straight down the middle, the pendants edges were jagged, almost as if it was cracked on impact, not carefully cut like the others.
