Korra and Asami have been happily married for 5 years. They've adopted a fourteen -year-old girl called Akemi, and she loves both of them as if she were her own flesh and blood. Waking up to Korra missing isn't unusual - she is, after all, the Avatar. She could just dissapear for days on end. She has a signal to Asami - she'll put her wedding band on Asami's finger if she's okay. However, one morning Akemi and Asami wake up to find the Avatar missing... And she didn't leave the signal. They decide to wait for three days, see if Korra comes back, but they wait for nine and Korra dosen't appear. After waiting around and doing nothing while the RCPD (Republic City Police Department) does "All they can," she takes matters into her own hands and she's off to find Korra on her own.
