What if Ryuzaki and Hedeki Ryuga weren't just aliases? What if there was more than one person occupying the mind of the worlds greatest detective? This is an AU in which L has DID (Dissociative Identity Disorder) otherwise known as Multiple Personality Disorder. This stared as a three part oneshot series in my other book, but people loved the idea so much they kept requesting more. So I've moved all the oneshots into their own book as they follow the same story line and ended up long enough to be a short story. DID is a very real and very hard to live with trauma disorder and I am in to way trying to glorify it. I just thought the idea of each alias being a different person very interesting. This disorder has a negative stigma behind it and that negative stigma needs to be destroyed. I've done as much research as I can to make this accurate. There was hope before, just a tiny flicker in the darkness. A star shining brightly despite the horror, the pain, the cruelty. With my little wide eyes, I tried reaching out my hands. I wanted to reach the light. Unfortunately, the small glimmering light disappeared, leaving me alone in the cold and dark dungeon. Nowhere to go and no one to run to, I was terrified. Then there was bright, shimmering light, my face was filled with hope, my mood lit up. Every time the door to my cell opens, hope fills me with unending thoughts of freedom, only to be disheartened at the sight of my nightmare "P-please! No more! I can't take it anymore!" I pleaded desperately. Hah, the younger me was too clueless, they show no mercy, pleading won't ever help. They said nothing, dragging me with them for another round of pain and mockery. Here I am today, standing in my black and (f/c) themed apartment, staring at my phone. I was to join L and his task force to catch a mass murderer named Kira. After these years of manipulating and watching humans, I'm now involved in the action myself. A smirk made its way to my face, my eyes lit up with interest. "Looks like I'm also a player in this game, eh? I wonder who'll win, L or Kira?" Little did everyone know the secrets lurking each character. It is, after all, a natural thing for unusual people. From queens to kings, from knights to pawns, from alters to egos, the world will always be full of deep dark secrets. And as (Name) carefully escapes from a web of unending warped truths, secrets will find their way into her throne, action will walk its way into her life.
