Rayla can't swim. She hates it. However, continuing her adventure alone with Callum meant she'd have to step outside of her comfort zone. Azymondias wouldn't do anything to stop him, so as long as he could walk he could do what he wanted. And when the small band comes across a lake... well, I'll let you put it together from there. With Ezran now re-crowned as King of Katolis, and the remainder of the human kingdoms now offering their allegiance to him and queen Aanya, they attempt to restore peace between the races of men and elves, the political strife being held together by the Battle of the Dragonguard. Now both sides attempt peace, although Lord Viren and his two companions, Claudia and Aaravos, still have agents loyal to Viren in the courts. This brings hardship to the fragile peace. Meanwhile, Callum and Rayla accompanied by the Skywing elf Ibis run a good part of the search for Lord Viren and his company. On the other half, the human half of the search, General Amaya, Commander Gren and Knight Janai of the Sunfire elves search the human kingdoms and root out any dark mages left in the human realms. Things will not be easy for the three groups, with the political tensions and the fear of Lord Viren's retribution, the peace is not easy to keep, even with a common enemy.
