Clarke Griffin and Bellamy Blake grew up not far from each other, Bellamy always had feelings for Clarke but never said anything and Clarke always had feelings for Bellamy. When the 100 are sent to the ground, Clarke and Bellamy are reunited and can no longer deny their feelings towards each other. Although it takes time for them to admit they have feelings, and a few people, they see that with the new start they've been given on earth there is a chance for them to survive together as one.

Clarke is an apprentice with her mother in the Ark's infirmary. She meets Bellamy in the recovery room after he is shot. The two become quick friends until disaster strikes ending that friendship instantly.
