Gardenia and Kurt were childhood friends, painfully close, saliva close, in fact once they cut their fingers when their mothers weren't looking and swirled them together, therefore binding them by blood. The seventies didn't exactly warn of blood borne diseases, so they were siblings even. But when the feelings grow to be more as they grow older, will they be able to handle it?

A series of fortunate coincidences and unfortunate encounters, and vice versa; a blissful chaos of four girls interrupted by loud neighbours, tall, dark, and handsome strangers, and luminous fairy people; a hunt for love, freedom, and self. This is Seattle and it's 1988. Hold on.

BOOK 1 Chris and Stone both love the same woman, Iris, and are caught up in an emotional love triangle. Chris is a hybrid with extraordinary powers who struggles between his duty to rule and his passion for music. He moves to Seattle to pursue his dream but keeps his true nature hidden from his friends and Iris, who enters his life like a tsunami. Chris is known as The Sire, the future ruler of a vampire world that humans believe to be a figment of their imagination. Stone is a local boy from Seattle and is Iris's entire world.
