A plague of skin disease that causes death among people is already widespread. Ang skin disease ay nagmula sa kagat ng isang unknown insect at nakahahawa through physical contact. Ironically, sa kalagitaan nang pagtutuklas nila ng mabisang gamot sa nakakamatay na skin disease, natuklasan din ni Jacobo na maaari pa lang muling mabuhay ang puso niyang matagal nang pinatay ng ex-fiancee.
