Everything's different now, after the Giant War. So even after arriving home Percy can't tell anyone the truth; not his mom, not his new, rather odd, neighbor, not the friends that he's afraid to be close to. But the truth always hurts and somehow, the truth always shows. Maybe it's a good thing that his new neighbor, Peter Parker, is just a little too observant. Or maybe it isn't. Meanwhile the world is changing. New threats have risen and been defeated. But people are disappearing, people are dying. And even the people who are supposed to be heroes can't stop this. But that's sort of the point. Now though the darkness which Peter has always managed to keep at an arm's length is right outside his front door. Right inside it. Peter can't lose anyone else. Percy can't lose anyone else. Both are sure that if they do they're bound to lose themselves. Now though loss isn't and if but a when. Not a when but how much. Neither of them plan on getting out of this one. Both are sure that there must be someone at fault. But innocence and guilt mean nothing in this blame game, because with all this hurt, with all this death, with all this pain, isn't everyone somehow to blame? And maybe they aren't so different, Peter and Percy. Maybe they can find a way to work together, fight together, stop this together. Maybe together they can find a way to get out of this one, find a way to save even those who don't want to be saved. Or maybe they can't. Peter Parker is a 16 year old boy who is also the vigilante Spider-man. But he's also an orphan who is depressed and self-harms. He is abused by the owner of the orphanage and is bullied at school. He feels like he's worthless, he beleives he's worthless, he thinks that there's no reason for him to be alive. If he wasn't Spider-man then he would have killed himself a long time ago, but he has a city to protect, so no matter how much he wants to, he just can't kill himself. But soon he starts to question wheather he really is helping the city or not, and soon he beleives that the best thing he can do is commit suicide, so he tries, but a certain tin-can saves him. Will Tony and Steve be able to help Peter? Will they find out about his misfortunes and the fact that he's Spider-man? What happens when they decide they want to know more about the little vigilante and end up finding out some less than happy things? What happens when peter get's an internship at Stark inndustries?
