Based after Cheryl saves Riverdale from the comet! Prompt challenge- 'So that's it? It's over?'

Hey everyone! Here's a oneshot of the prompt challenge I do with my friends Geri & Kass! It only took a couple of hours to write since I have been so busy atm! Prompt- I'm not letting karma deal with this. I can't trust it'll be enough of a punishment, nor can I say it'd be fast enough

After Toni's interaction with Cheryl at the Whyte Wyrm she couldn't help but think that something was off. Was she right? Based on canon, I tried to match up timelines but as we all know Riverdale has a habit of messing it up so I'll work with that the best I can.

Toni is desperately struggling with her mental health and change in her life. After bumping into Cheryl - her ex - at a party, everything she used to know slots back into place and things seem to be getting better. "Toni sighed and rolled over, the bird's song screeching through the open window and sunlight streamed in through the half broken blinds. The smell of freshly baked bread seeped into the room from the neighbours house and muffled voices she couldn't quite make out echoed through the halls of the apartment. Dogs barking, bicycle bells, car horns and trees swaying in the wind, idle chatter, distant engine revving and the sound of coffee brewing filled the air and Toni rolled her eyes. Cheryl and Toni haven't seen each other for four years so when the redhead gets an invite to her cousin's wedding that Toni will be attending she reaches out to her best friend Tabitha for help.
