So they deviate from the script, attempt to fulfill the purpose that brought them to the mountain in the first place in a last attempt to break free from the resets. It doesn't work. (But suicide is a pretty memorable thing, and emotions may just be a little bit stronger than memories. Especially to the person who finds their dead body.) This is a story I wrote in 2016 when I was in a mental health clinic dealing with my own depression and suicidal thoughts. Viewer discretion is advised. Midoriya Izuku has always had a sharp mind. He aims to transfer to the U.A. Heroics course from the Support Course. He knows he's smart enough to get in, and he's always been gifted with making things. He just never thought his items would be of use to him before U.A. Tsukauchi Naomasa never expected a phone call from a twelve-year-old child who'd been kidnapped by villains. Who was still in the hands of villains. But he'd be damned if he let this kid die. All Might tell Midoriya he can't be a hero when he's quirkless. Does that stop the green bean? Nope. Finding an abandoned toddler in an alleyway wasn't on his to do list though. But no one cared enough to care if he adopted the kid or not. And if anyone thought something small like a villainous quirk was enough to put Midoriya off, then they were very, very wrong. He knew what it was like, after all.

Quirks aren't everything in this world, nor is your family status. Animals with quirks are pushed away, merely because they're animals. Nezu?
