sirius black, self proclaimed rebel with messy hair, went to university wanted to make masterpieces. to paint, to make art, to create beautiful things. his parents, however, went against this, sending phone calls and letters that were far from shy of getting the point across, leading sirius to stray away from his goals. remus lupin, renowned for drinking black coffee and sarcastic comments, went to university for the same exact reasons. his parents allowed him to follow his, letting him keep his hands covered in paint and possibly dabbling in the stick n poke tattoo talent on himself. and after remus finds out about a portrait that he has to paint for his portfolio, he has to find someone aside from his friend peter (who won't sit still for anything), and he happens to find a certain young man willing to sit still for his final grade (as long as his friend james can get his number across to remus' friend, lily.)

Wolfstar, Marauders Era au. Sirius Black has found himself falling in love with one of his best friends, Remus Lupin. Unable to express his feelings any other way, he begins to write in a notebook, filling it with things he'll never tell him.

Remus knew Sirius was innocent. That doesn't help anyone. When Remus tried contacting his boyfriend in Azkaban, the Ministry won't let him through. So he kept the letters with him, hoping on a dying wish that he can send them, at least get some contact. Sirius was one day away from proposing. That ring is worthless now. When Sirius was taken away from his boyfriend's and future fiancé's arms, after the death of his two best friends, he was alone, with nothing but a pen, paper, and a dying light in his eyes, hoping that he can send his letters, at least get some contact. And they are together in some way, either lit by the dim Christmas tree's lights or by the dim moon through the cell window. (This is probably only going to be 10 chapters at the most.
