A young woman has a sudden realisation that she cannot write a book about things she hasn't experienced. After making a detailed list, she makes it her mission to complete everything on that list before she can start writing again. Her experiment doesn't exactly go as expected, all while encountering a Donnie Darko enthusiast, being homeless for three days, and eating a McDonald's hamburger for the first time.
