en un universo paralelo, luego de que Spinel fuera derrotada , vinieron unos tipos vestidos de traje negro que pertenecía al gobierno de los estados unidos, comenzaron hablar con Steven y las gemas sobre una supuesta demanda debido que el gobierno y algunas naciones del mundo no están conformes con la alianza entre los humanos y de los que provienen ,tras esto le dan un contrato a Steven y a cada uno de las gemas sobre un trabajo en los laboratorios de un lugar llamado Black Mesa y si rechazan serán deportados del planeta o inclusive causar una guerra ,sin pensarlo aceptan ese trabajo ,ya en el lugar de donde dijieron,toman algunas pruebas y toman puesto como guardia de seguridad en el complejo Lambda ,tras la siguiente mañana ,no se toman en cuenta de que ese día es el experimento que hará uno de los empleados nuevos llamado Gordon Freeman ,tras iniciar la catástrofe despiertan en una sala de emergencias y tras esto conocerán nuevas amenazas y se a vuelto vulnerables al daño tal sea cualquier disparo ,ellos tendrán que acompañar y ayudar a algunos del personal y de una facción de soldados a cambio de su libertad dado que esos soldados buscan a uno que está perdido . está historia es una reimaginacion del anterior que salió del Año 2021 y contarán las mismas cosas pero otros serán cambiados desde zero.
