Trauma is something else, let me tell you. after 2 wars and multiples battles, facing endless deaths, to top it off with bullying in school and to add a few sprinkles he was abused as a child. Losing somebody can be really hard, and the demigods have lost many. Sometimes you can feel lost, sad, remorseful, as Percy does when he loses yet another friend to Thanatos. So Nico says fuck it.
