The Calamity has been defeated, Hyrule is safe. It may take a good while but eventually the Kingdom of Hyrule might once return for the first time in a century. Everything is normal, up until something new appeared on the Sheikah Slate. Something that would not only change Link's life but the lives of those who suffered at the hands of the Calamity. Zelda sends Link to investigate what these mysterious new readings mean. His adventure is not over yet... far from it. Inspired by "Romance is in the Air" by @Azadia_the_Rito (please check them out their works are incredible) I've decided to try my hand at making a fanfic with the endgame being my favorite pairing: Link x Revali. I know it may seem odd to spoil but I want people to know what they're getting into. (BTW this is my FIRST time writing one of these so please bear with me) This will not be a purely romance story but it will be a major part later on. I just really wanted to dive into this wonderful world with my own touch, so here's how I'm going to do it. To start Revali is my favorite character in Breath of the Wild and I think all the champions deserve more story and interaction with Link. This will be taking place after Calamity Ganon's defeat so be wary of spoilers. This will be a SLOW burn and when I mean slow I mean like halfway between a snail and a glacier. Not crazy slow but just enough to make it worth the payoff. I'll say that right now no matter what happens there will be a happy ending because I can't bring myself to write a sad one. Not that it won't get sad along the way, oh no I'm going to take hearts and mince them into a fine chopped stew of emotion. I promise however I will preface anything I feel worth warning about in the beginning of each chapter in authors notes. No matter what happens I just want y'all to know that as long as one person smiles, all the work is worth it to me. Hope you enjoy! :)

The royal family of Antarctic empire isn't exactly close. Emperor Philza is always occupied; Tommy hasn't seen Techno in months, and even if Wilbur is here, in the capital, their relationship can be described to be strained at best. The royal family doesn't need to be close, however, it only needs to be balanced, like the pillars holding the country above their heads - as long as they are strong and steady, the Empire will be too. It's the principle that held Tommy's back straight and his shoulders broad through the years of hardships and trials of errors; through yet another formal meeting where his father's gaze would look past him and where his brother's words would be filled with poison that makes the deepest parts of his soul ache. At that time, Tommy couldn't know that his family would find a replacement for him in the face of a commoner boy named Ranboo. ~🦋~ Tommy's family has replaced him. Tommy stole from and started a fight in a record shop. Tubbo messed with homemade mini-nukes. Ranboo doesn't remember what he did, but it was bad. Three boys all end up at the same school for troubled teens. They all feel alone. That is until Ranboo loses a page of his diary on a bench in the school's courtyard and Tommy and Tubbo write back... Three troubled teens that just want to have fun, what could go wrong?
