His mother is the daughter of number one villain All for one. She does not know of this fact though. As Izuku grows up he learns his quirk is similar to erasure head but is slightly different. He can pretty much defend against all types of quirks including mutant by paralyzing the whole being and can suppress more than 3 people at a time.
