Hermes, god of speed and slick tricks, never figured he'd get hooked on a mortal. Yet there was Crocus-a quiet kid, always with saffron stains on his fingers-who managed to get under his skin in ways even immortality couldn't shake. Wild, right? Thing is, mortal lives burn out fast. When Crocus's story hit its last page, even a god like Hermes just... shattered. Yeah, grief hits everyone, celestial or not. Out of all that heartbreak, Hermes cried-and bam, from those tears, the crocus flower showed up. Purple petals, flecks of gold, and a red streak in the middle like a little reminder that love can bruise. So, what's left? Just a story of love that vanishes too quick, a god who actually felt something, and a flower that refuses to let anyone forget. Not exactly a happy ending, but hey, it sticks with you.
