We live in insatiable greed, in selfishness that recognizes no one but the self. We act only to satisfy our own desires, we defend only what is ours, as if we were born solely for ourselves. Is this truly possible? Is this the time we live in, or is this our true nature unveiled? How can knowledge evolve, while we regress? Where are we heading if we see nothing but our own reflection? If we don't awaken from this darkness, there will be nothing left of the light.
