Park Chanyeol belongs to the Lycan clan. Everyone gets along well, fights rarely break out. They all treat each other like one big family. However, the species has grown to be somewhat full of themselves, having managed to take out almost the whole Vampire race. The few vampires that were kept alive were either enslaved, killed, or are in hiding. Vampires refer to them as Garoua. The few vampires that have managed to stay in hiding, none are related. Their families are either enslaved, dead, or somewhere unknown. Vampires tend to be calmer and more accepting of others than lycans. Due to this type of behaviour, the few in hiding have accepted Byun Baekhyun into their clan. Baekhyun is a hybrid. Half Lycan and half Vampire. Hybrids are seen as a crime punishable by death to the lycan clan. The vampires don't seem to care about this however. They are addressed as Vrykolakas by werewolves.
