Pure gods cant have children together because there is to much magic that the offspring cant handle it. Zeus on the other hand has never had the time to have any children till now. Zeus fell in love with Hera, soon it was found out the they soon would have a daughter which would make the gods even question themselves. Had they been wrong and what would a pure god child be capable of, for there has never been one before until now.
