'I love you' he says. Words I thought I'd never hear from a boy. He look me in the eyes and strokes my cheek with his fingers. I looks back into his eyes and freeze. I say nothing. Its quiet. 'No reply?' He asks after ten seconds of awkward staring. He takes back his hand from my cheek and looks at the pillows on my bed. 'I- don't know what to say..' I finally say. His eyebrows meet and his mouth opens. Nothing comes out tho. 'I don't think Im ready' I say. He stands up from the bed and puts his hands in the pockets of his Nike sweatpants. 'Uhm.. I promised my family I would be home for dinner so I probably have to go now.' I also stand up and lean in for a hug. He turns to the door and walks out of my room. He closes the door behind him and I hear his footsteps going down the stairs. I look out of my bedroom window and see him walking to his car. As he steps in he sees me. I wave. He doesn't wave back. His car lights turn on and he drives away. A few minutes later I open whatsapp. I see that he's online. I start typing: Im sorry for what happend. I got scared and panicked.. I do love yo- Before I could finish that sentence my mind decided to delete it. He starts typing. - You were typing ? I type back. - sorry wrong person :-( He reads and doesn't reply. After a minute he goes offline. I fall back into my bed and look over to the polaroids of us above my desk. I start asking myself questions in my mind. 'Did I mess it up? Does he really love me ? Do I love him ?' I close my eyes and fall asleep after a minute. To be continued.
