Nothing. As I close the last drawer, I hear a deep chuckle behind me. I turn around and hop on the counter. "looking for this?" Asks Kai as he pulls out a spoon. I grin in happiness, "thank you" I reply as I hop off the counter and take the spoon. "Adorable" he coos randomly. Then, he kisses my cheek. "See you, Doll Face" ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Vena is a 16 year old girl. She is in Eagles High School. One day, her history teacher, Mrs. Greens announces that they will be going to France as a trip for a whole month! She announces the room mates as they will be staying in a hotel. Vena stops in horror as she announces hers. Kai Keen is going to be her partner! Her crush! This is not gonna be good...

A picture is worth a thousand words. In this short story book I will post the final products of art or images based writing challenges, all of them under or at a thousand words. The topics can range from fantasy to steam-punk to apocalyptic to anything and everything. If I find an image challenge that peeks my interest, I'll post it in this book, including the image I used and tell you where it came from.
