The dream sets in to ward away the angry creatures of my mind and the blissful feeling of falling envelopes me into a gentle cocoon, bringing me effortlessly to the end. The sweet release. I dream that I slip through the crack embedded deep in my mind and don't even bother trying to grasp onto the ledge. The feeling of hopelessness leaving my body lifts all the weight away and I finally feel at home, at peace with myself. I see the end of my battle and run towards it, shrugging away the heaviness of my legs. I open my eyes and prepare myself for the jump. The jump that will put an end to my miseries, worries and my pains. "Stop." I feel the reluctance oozing throughout my body as I shift my weight onto my heels while staring longingly down at the ground. "Why?" I ask. And the tears come.
