When you're young, you never really think about what you're doing. You go ahead with something dangerous while your body is filled with adrenaline and your heart is beating at an uncontrollable rate. That's exactly what happened to a young time lady just days before the 'Great Time War' began. She had taken a TARDIS for a quick spin and when she tried to go home nothing was left for her to recover. Not knowing what to do, she does what any young person would do. She turned her back on the destruction of her people, the rubble of her lands, and ran. After living alone and thinking she was the last of her kind for millenniums, the young time lady, who had taken the name Alhena, heard the stories of the Doctor. A time lord who also believed he was the last of his kind, and who had traveled through space and time to destroy evil and save galaxies. Alhena knew what she had to do, grabbing her sonic and her TARDIS she followed the clues to try and find the Doctor. The TARDIS lands in ancient Egypt, and River attracts the unwanted attention of the Pharaoh. Now, the Doctor and River must escape before it's too late. This is the second episode of a 16 episode Doctor Who fanfiction series called "Doctor Who: Time's Melody." The series is about the 11th Doctor and River Song. It takes place between the episodes "The Angels Take Manhattan" and "The Snowmen". We, the GallifreyanScribes, hope you enjoy our work. In modern times, doctors have called this condition the TOM syndrome - an acronym for "the other me". This neurological disorder is thought to cause hallucinations and delusions due to extreme exhaustion and dehydration. As you read through these accounts from patients who have experienced these visions, remember that their names and locations have been changed to protect their identities.

Kaitlyn (aka the main character) goes to a new school in California with her best friend Kira, she meets this guy Scott McCall and they slowly becoming friends and fall in love but there's something she doesn't know about scott and theres something he doesn't know about Kaitlyn.. but what is it ;)
