Finding a portal to a magical realm really isn't all it's cracked up to be. Cassian's been enslaved tortured, nearly executed, hunted for sport, and finally narrowly escaped the English forces with his life. Now he's determined to get back to his friends in Wales and try to help them set things right...before his own time runs out. Facing enemies in the past and the present, Cassian must maintain control in two timelines if he hopes to save his new allies, and himself. Unholy alliances, and of course kidnappings, abound. No foxes were harmed in the writing of this book, but plenty of people were. Ahem. Dead people live, living people die. Sword fights. Sieges. Torture. Revenge. Dark humor. Edmund Crouchback is still the main antagonist and the funniest character. Dragons are here. Edward the Second is still a precious cinnamon roll. Everyone is some level of bisexual disaster. Yes you may learn like 1/2 a thing about the 1200s but that's a risk you're going to have to take. Trigger/ Content Warning: Same as the previous book. Some profanity. Some dark humor. The narrating character has a traumatic past of abuse which is mentioned briefly. Trauma/loss are discussed. Some fantasy violence/peril. Similar gore as 'Stranger Things' or the 'Hunger Games'.

Bainu and Dainu were twins born in china in the early 1200s. Their parents died when they were 4 by arson. They pledged to train and in some form, protect china. Well, that didn't work out well. They moved to Japan when they were 7 and stayed there due to how dangerous the first trip was. They became legends anyways. - I originally got this idea when we had to write a short story with a samurai as the main character for social studies. The only reason this book really exists is because my social studies teacher had a relapse, and i'm grateful for that, though she's been very sick and hasn't been at school for two weeks. I'd prefer if she had gotten better instead of me being able to make some stupid book that'll likely not even be popular. Note: I am currently learning german. I only started in the middle of october, but i hope to at least start translating some of this book to german sometime in january at least. I'm also on ipad. I may get my computer out every once in a while to fix mistakes, but please don't get mad about the grammar/spelling/punctuation and point the errors out because i know. If it is something historical that you think is incorrect, that is fine. Feedback itself is fine, i just don't want people pointing out all my grammatical errors. Started: November 8th, 2019
