In this universe Catherine II, Duchess of Achea and Titular Empress of the Latin Empire goes on to rally Europe in her cause to retake Constantinople and restore the Latin Empire in the year 1337. This story will read more like a documentary of this alternative history of the Latin Empire. From its renewed beginning in 1337 to its eventual downfall. It'll be a lot of in fighting, dynasty struggles, and outward expansion. This is also my first attempt at story writing so please give me tips and tell me what you like and don't like. New chapters soon.

Digging though some ancient texts in the back room of my hometown library, I came upon this old gem. Most of us are familiar with the modern adaptations of this story but I think that it is worth revisiting the text in its original form as published in the late 1350s. It's such a classic that shaped the literary landscape of its time inspiring the words of Chaucer and even Martin Luther. We often forget that this story was in such high demand that the publishers (this was before such modern convinces as the printing press mind you) switched to a new fast drying form of ink in order to get copies printed and distributed faster. This is known to be directly linked to the great fire of 1358 that threatened to consume what is now Southampton due to the highly volatile nature of the inks used and devastated the local wool industry for nearly a decade. I took great pleasure in transcribing the faded words of this old musty book and I sincerely hope those who chose to read receive similar pleasure in soaking in the source material of one of pop culture's favorite heroes. Since I'm transcribing not writing, expect a fairly short wait between uploads. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ *Based on MCU Spiderman (Tom Holland) *Inspired by Sanspants radio's "Plumbing the Death Star" episode "How would Spider-Man Deal with Being in the Middle-Ages?" published July 8, 2018. sanspantsradio.com

I could feel people staring at me. I looked at my brother. He was frozen. I tried pulling him away from the crowd, but it was almost like he was glued in one place. I saw Rohaan escape by jumping over the wall. I felt the grip my brother had on my hand loosen. "RUN!" Lucas screamed to me before completely letting go of my hand. I turned back to him just to find him on the ground with a puddle of red forming around him. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Written by Lily M with the help of Darian R, Lillie H, Eden B, Hailey A. This book can be a bit gruesome, so if you are uncomfortable with a bit of blood then I wouldn't read. 😊

She was one of those queens who was the definition of "the power behind the throne." In 1320, 15-year-old Elzbieta, daughter of the recently crowned King of Poland, is chosen to be the new wife of King Karoly of Hungary, to seal an alliance between the two kingdoms. Just like her father, Karoly is a fairly new king, trying to rule and rebuild a country full of civil unrest. She quickly fulfills her most important queenly duty- giving her husband sons. But Elzbieta realizes she could be so much more than a pawn for alliances and a provider of heirs. She soon finds that the most important men in her life- her brother, husband, and sons trust her more than anyone else. FIRST DRAFT/ Editing ON HOLD: I will make this my main project after I finish "Between two Queens". Note: This is not based on the Polish television series "Crown of Kings (Korona Krolow). I am an English-speaking American whose not had a chance to watch the show, because it is unavailable in my country and language. I have no Polish or Hungarian blood, but I find medieval European royal dynasties interesting, so I wanted to write novels about the lesser-known dynasties. There are already enough novels about England's Plantagenet dynasty. Note: This story is on hold right now. I plan on adding more once I finish "Between two Queens".
