Maora was a female dwarf who had extraordinary talents. When she was a child, she had been blessed by the Lady Galadriel herself. The Elf Queen gave her four distinct abilities; abilities that none in Middle-Earth possessed. Lady Galadriel had warned Maora that in the coming of Darkness, she would join a Company of dwarves and would play a key role in the success of their quest. What she did not tell the young dwarf, was the cost that it would take.

With a life left behind and an uncertain future, Rowan finds herself swept into the blistering cold of the Blue Mountains. Cursing the spirit who thrust her into a new world and longing for a warm bed and the comforts of home, Rowan trudges ever forward seeking safe shelter.. Anger, fear and the fight for freedom being her only motivation to find her place in Middle Earth, Rowan finds the compassion she longs for in the most unlikely place. Destiny places her in the path of a kindly innkeeper and into seemingly indentured servitude. But anger only gets you so far and learning how to live again may lie in someone else's hands

He walked into Rivendell with his hood up his ears picking up movement before he turned and caught the person in a hug, his hood falling off his head showing his face. "you miss me?" he teased with a gruff voice "course I did" the other person replied having a female voice, "We haven't seen you in years, I- we thought something happened" the person stated with a upset distant look, "darling, if something happened who would be here to help you and your idiot of a brother" he teased with a slight smile, his blue eyes having a spark of joy in them for the first time in a while. The start of this story takes place a day before thorin and the company find themselves in Rivendell- (The hobbit - lord of the rings) (Male oc x male oc) (In progress of a re-write before continuing the actual plot.)
